WHY DENVER FAMILIES CHOOSE NIGHT OWL
More than 10 years of overnight newborn care
We've been matching Colorado families with trusted overnight caregivers since 2014. That experience shows in how carefully we match each family and how quickly we can step in when plans change.
Care for multiples and babies who need a little more
Nights with twins or triplets are a different job. Our multiples-experienced night nannies keep feeds, sleep and routines on track for every baby. Many caregivers also have extensive experience supporting infants with reflux, oxygen administration and special needs support. If your baby comes home with extra needs, you don't have to figure out the nights alone.
Certified, experienced caregivers
Every caregiver passes an extensive background check. Each one has multiple years of newborn care experience, current CPR and First Aid certification, and formal infant care training. Many are certified doulas, newborn care specialists or nurses.
Support through your benefits
Many of our providers are able to support families through Carrot, Maven and other fertility, family-building and employer benefit programs. Ask us what your plan covers.
WHAT DENVER FAMILIES SAY
“Fantastic experience using Night Owl to connect with the right postpartum Doula for our 2nd child. Thankfully, baby's arrival matched with our provider’s schedule - she was an absolute dream. We were able to have her support several nights/days for the first 6 weeks and are so grateful! She is incredibly knowledgeable and professional and you can tell she truly loves her newborns. I only wish we could've worked with her longer. 10/10 recommend!”
“They are an amazing team to work with, and we were very impressed from day one with their entire approach to everything. We really appreciated how much care, thoughtfulness, and knowledge that they provided to our entire family. Would highly recommend them to anyone!”
“My wife and I are first time parents and the Night Owl team has been incredible to work with. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for at-home day and night care. AREAS WE SERVE ACROSS THE DENVER METRO
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What does a night nanny do?
A night nanny cares for your baby overnight in your home: feeding or bringing baby to you for nursing, diapering, soothing, settling and keeping a log of the night. Most also tidy baby's area, wash bottles and do baby's laundry.
What's the difference between a night nanny, a newborn care specialist and a night nurse?
A night nanny provides overnight infant care. A newborn care specialist has advanced newborn training and helps with feeding plans, sleep shaping and routines. A night nurse is a licensed nurse, often chosen for babies with medical needs. We'll help you decide which fits your family.
How far ahead should we book?
As early as possible. Many Denver families apply in the second trimester. We can sometimes place a caregiver within days, but availability is best with notice.
Can we start our first night home from the hospital?
Yes. Many families schedule care to begin the night they come home.
Do you accept Carrot or Maven?
Yes. Many of our providers can support families through Carrot, Maven and other benefit programs. Contact us with your plan details and we'll confirm.

HOW IT WORKS
Most Denver families pay $50–$60 per hour for night nanny or postpartum doula care. That's about $400–$480 for a typical 8-hour night. Your rate depends on your caregiver's experience and certifications, and on your baby's needs. Care for twins, multiples and babies with special needs is typically a bit higher.
Engagements start at 8 hours per night and 80 hours in total. A one-time $200 search and matching fee applies. Have a budget in mind? Tell us, and we'll match you accordingly.
